I started printmaking from tooled leather pieces to transfer the unique marks made by leathercrafting tools to paper. My approach has developed from whole pieces with a mostly monochrome aspect, through cutouts for a blank background, to pieces with multiple colors. A sampling of all these styles of prints is presented below.

In November 2022 I published an article in the Leather Crafters and Saddlers Journal (vol.34 no. 6. pp 15-22) describing my process for making prints from the tooled leather pieces.
